MINI ACTION DAY: CASTLE COMBE 2016

We were all geared up to meet prior to convoying into the venue, but due to misjudging how large a group we would be and how small McDonalds car park was we quickly moved to the sainsburys next door.

We took pre event shots and admired our ever increasing convoy. Then onto Castle Combe, Exciting!

Our club stand plot, long, narrow, on grass not at all exciting in fact boring and all the point we were dreading but we got on and arranged all the cars the best we could with banners flags and gazebo it looked quite good with the mix of MINIs we had.

Next detailing, an essential part of any car show everyone taking a pride in their cars appearance once cars and stand were showing to perfection we were ready to take a look around the event.

Their was a great mix of modern and classic minis this event has a lot to offer with club stands, trade stands, track action and more including everyones favourite the lunchtime parade lap where anyone is welcomed to take their mini onto the track, the only downfall of this event was the apparent lack of modern mini trade stands compared to the amount of classic mini traders.

The day ended with LUXEMINI somehow winning the prize for best club stand which came as a shock to us as this was only our second time as a club stand at a show, this was a great event and we will be returning for the 2017 mini action day and hope to see many of you returning with us.
